Rocky Mount, N.C. - During the week of April 3-9, the NCAA is holding its annual Division III Week, an initiative created to highlight the impact of Division III student-athletes on their campuses and in their surrounding communities. North Carolina Wesleyan is proud to join approximately 450 institutions supporting the cause, and the Battling Bishops are kicking off the week by releasing a video highlighting various aspects of the Division III experience.
The video is the first of five daily releases that will focus on a different part of being a Battling Bishop student-athlete. At a little over six minutes long, the video aims to provide the athlete's prospetive on playing collegiate athletics, time management, road trips, etc. The Department of Athletics recognizes SAAC Advisors Chuck Shoemaker and Erica Keil for providing the video's live clips, and we encourage everyone to take time and crank up their speakers to check it out!

After highlighting NCWC's 4C Philosophy through the middle of the week, in addition to various other projects taking place in conjunction, activities will culminate on Friday with a TEAM WESLEYAN Day. Our Bishop players will be sporting their TEAM WESLEYAN t-shirts and/or team gear, and the Department of Athletics is encouraging all members of of the campus community to wear Wesleyan attire or navy/gold apparel to show their support of our athletes.
