ITA Releases All-America Tennis Teams and Final Rankings

Rocky Mount, N.C. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has announced its 2015 All-America teams for Division III, as well as the organization's final national and regional rankings. North Carolina Wesleyan had two players garner All-American status in the form of senior Robert Kjellberg and freshman Sebastian Sikh, with Kjellberg becoming the first four-time All-American in any sport in Battling Bishop history.

Team-wise, the Bishops finished in the top-25 with a #22 national ranking. Kjellberg was tabbed #10 in singles play (#2 regionally), while he and Sikh earned a #2 national ranking in doubles after falling just short in last month's NCAA D-III National Championship.

On the women's side, Wesleyan's breakout season resulted in a #9 team ranking in the Atlantic South. Sophomore Natalia Lopez earned a #20 billing in singles play, and the Venezuela native teamed with sophomore Fernanda Orona to post a #13 ranking in doubles action.

Congratulations to both teams on their phenomenal seasons!
