Rocky Mount, N.C. - The North Carolina Wesleyan Department of Athletics exemplified the spirit of giving this month by collecting over $400 to provide Christmas gifts for area needy families. Battling Bishop student-athletes and staff members, who titled their project "One Dollar, One Present, One Merry Christmas," adopted a pair of infant twins for the holidays, donating their own money to provide diapers, clothing and toys for the families.

The gifts were individually wrapped by members of Wesleyan's women's soccer team and will be delivered in the coming week. The Battling Bishops are humbled to be given a chance to give back to the Rocky Mount community and would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
