Alyson Patrick Beicker made a name for herself on the pitch. Just the third women’s soccer player in Bishop history to garner All-American status when she did so in 1996, Patrick still holds program records for goals scored in a season with 21, as well as total points in a season with 47.

Those two feats came during a stellar senior season that saw Patrick named Conference Player of the Year... a feat achieved by only one other Bishop prior (NCWC Hall of Famer Julie Duerler). That same All-American season saw Wesleyan secure the second regular season conference title and third NCAA Tournament berth of her career. A gifted striker, she had previously led Wesleyan to the 1994 DIAC crown and a run to the NCAA Final Four, the furthest advancement in program history.

Patrick’s teams compiled a 49-22-6 record over the span of her career from 1993-1996, a tenure that ended with the Missouri City, Texas native ranking second all-time in goals scored (37). She finished with a trio of All-Conference awards to her credit, two of which were First Team nods (’95, ’96), in addition to being named Freshman of the Year in 1993.

A 1997 Wesleyan graduate, Patrick went on to earn her MBA in Finance and has enjoyed a productive career in the energy field in her home state, where she currently serves as a Chief Financial Officer.  She was recently named to the USA South’s 50-Year Anniversary team in her sport.
