Wesleyan opened its doors to a new athletic training room in the fall of 2004. It is located in the fieldhouse situated between the soccer, baseball and softball fields. The facility has several whirlpools, as well as ultrasound and stimulation units. The fieldhouse athletic training room is also equipped with five taping stations, treatment tables, and hydrotherapy and rehab areas.
The North Carolina Wesleyan sports medicine staff also uses the athletic training room located in Everett Gymnasium. The primary use of this room is for men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, and golf. The athletic training room in Everett consists of a treatment / rehabilitation area, as well as a hydrotherapy area.
