Greensboro, N.C. - Greensboro College scored two runs in the bottom of the 12th inning to earn a 5-4 victory over North Carolina Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Brandon Roberts received a no-decision after allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out five over seven complete.

The Pride (19-11, 5-5 USA South) had taken a 3-0 lead into the top of the ninth only to see Wesleyan plate three runs (all with two outs) to force extras. Hayden Williams, Andre' Nichols and Jake Alexander each delivered RBIs for the Bishops.

In extras, NCWC went up 4-3 on an RBI-single by freshman Noah Huff that scored Tyler Clark, but Greensboro countered in their half of the frame. After the Pride's leadoff batter was hit by a pitch, reliever Jake Swartout forced two fly-outs before an RBI-double and RBI-single gave GC a walkoff win.

Swartout (2-2) took the loss, going 4 2/3 innings and allowing just the two hits and striking out five. Williams finished 4-for-5 at the plate for the Bishops, who out-hit the Pride 11-8 on the day.

The victory gave the Pride a sweep of the Bishops after having won Saturday's opener by an 8-6 score. Only five of GC's runs were earned as Wesleyan committed six errors in the game. Nichols, Pat Laffin and Will Beasley had two hits apiece for NCWC.

Wesleyan (15-21, 2-8 USA South) wraps up its regular season slate this week with a trio of home games. Up first, the Bishops will host Stevenson College on Thursday at 3:30pm, followed by a two-game set with league rival Methodist University on Friday and Saturday.
