Threat of Rain Moves Up Baseball's Opening Day to Thursday

Rocky Mount, N.C. - Due to the impending threat of rain in the area, this weekend's season-opening baseball games versus Eastern Mennonite University have been moved up to Thursday and Friday, February 8th and 9th.

The Battling Bishops will now open their season on Thursday with a single game starting at 2:00pm at Bauer Field.  NCWC and EMU will then wrap up their 3-game set on Friday with a doubleheader beginning at 12:30pm. Both of Friday's contests are scheduled for seven innings each.
