Baseball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
Hunter Hill, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Asheboro, North Carolina earned the win in a 19-7 victory over USA South foe Methodist last week which secured the USA South East Division title for the Battling Bishops. Hill shut out the Monarchs over the final six innings not allowing a run on three hits with four walks and two strikeouts.

Hill shut out the Monarchs over the final six innings not allowing a run on three hits with four walks and two strikeouts.
Hill is now 2-0 on the season with a 2.57 ERA and 18 strikeouts over 21 innings and 9 appearances this season. This is Hill's second Rookie Pitcher of the Week award this season as he also won it back in April.
He will next lead the top seeded 25-15 Battling Bishops into the USA South Conference Tournament on Thursday with a 12:00 home game against West #4 seed Piedmont.
