Pair of Bishops Earn Accolades, Janezic INT Up for Play of the Week

Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South has released its weekly awards for November 9th with a pair of Bishops earning honors in football. Adrian Minondo picked up his third straight Offensive Rookie of the Week nod, while Trevor Campbell earned the same honor on defense.

Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
Adrian Minondo, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman running back from Okeechobee, Florida rushed for 207 yards with two touchdowns in a 48-31 victory over USA South foe LaGrange last week. Minondo ran the ball 38 times for an average of 5.4 yards per attempt.

Football Defensive Rookie of the Week
Trevor Campbell, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman defensive back from Lakeland, Florida totaled four tackles, a fumble recovery, an interception and a pass break-up in Wesleyan's win at LaGrange. Campbell tallied three solo tackles with one assisted take down, including one tackle for a loss of six yards. His interception eventually led to the Bishops' second touchdown of the day.
