Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference has released its weekly awards for October 23rd with N.C. Wesleyan's Antonio Johnson earning the first Defensive Player of the Week honor of his collegiate football career.

The Beaufort, N.C. sophomore linebacker tallied a game-high 16 total tackles which included 2.5 tackles for loss in a 21-15 victory over USA South rival Averett last Saturday. Johnson notched ten solo tackles and six assisted take downs.
