ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.- Rocky Mount's local tv station, WHIG-TV, began a weekly live morning sports show that will air every Tuesday Morning from 8:00 AM-8:20 on WHIG-TV. The show is presented by Don Bulluck Chevrolet.
This week featured WHIG's Wayne Holloman interviewing NC Wesleyan Defensive Coordinator Brian Williams and Men's Soccer Head Coach Frankie Taal. This is Taal's 2nd appearance on the show and Williams' first.
This is also Williams' first season as the DC, as he came to the Bishops from the University of Pikeville (Ky.) this past summer.
They discuss the challenges of having games canceled due to Hurricane Florence and the long break in between games for the football team. NCWC Football has not played since Sept. 8 with their game vs. Bridgewater College (Va.) being canceled over the last two weekends.
Wesleyan Football, however, will return home this weekend and host USA South foe LaGrange College (Ga.) on Youth Day at 1:00 PM from Rocky Mount Stadium.
The Men's soccer team is coming off their first win this past Saturday as they downed Pfeiffer 4-1.
