BREVARD, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College football team held off conference foe Brevard College 29-21 on the road Saturday by making a goal-line stand as the clock ticked to zeros to knock off the Tornadoes.

Wesleyan would then add two Caleb Mann field goals to tie Brevard at 13 all midway through the second quarter.

Wesleyan then continued their offensive power by scoring two more touchdowns in the 2nd quarter to lead 26-13 at the break. The Tornadoes then got the ball back with 5 to go and drove to the Wesleyan one as they tried to tie the game, but the Bishops defense held strong stopping them four times for the win.
