USA SOUTH Football Offensive Player of the Week

Adrian Minondo, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior running back from Okeechobee, Florida rushed for a career-high 246 yards in a 37-10 victory over USA South foe Methodist University at home on Saturday. He averaged 8.5 yards on 29 carries and scored three touchdowns. Minondo beat out 3 other nominees to win the conference award, his first of the season.

He has now rushed for 532 yards on the season averaging 88.7 yards/game with 4 touchdowns. He is also averaging 6.5 yards per rush.

He will next lead the Battling Bishops (5-2) into Senior Day on Saturday vs. Huntingdon College (2-5) at 1 PM at RM Athletic Stadium.

NC Wesleyan was also featured on the USA South Athletic Conference 2018 Football Week 9 Plays of the Week with Minondo's impressive 55 yard touchdown run to put the game away in the fourth quarter vs. Methodist on Saturday.
