ST Jaydon Denmark, So., N.C. Wesleyan

Denmark, a sophomore native of Monroe, NC, blocked two punts with one leading to a return touchdown for the Bishops in a 31-26 loss to Maryville on Saturday. His first blocked punt let to freshman Corrie Lee picking it up and returning it 55 yards for a score to trim MC's lead down to 7 points. His last blocked punt gave the Bishops the ball in the opponent territory late in the fourth. However, the offense could not come up with the go-ahead score. 

The Bishops, 3-4 overall and 3-2 in the USA South and in 4th place, will next enjoy a bye week before heading back out on the road to face conference leader Huntingdon on Oct. 30 in Alabama. Wesleyan will return home for Senior Day on Nov. 6 at Noon.
