Coach Matt Keith joined the N.C. Wesleyan football coaching staff as the Offensive Line Coach in the summer of 2018. Keith is wrapping up season 5 with the Battling Bishops and started off the 2022 season in his new role of Offensive Coordinator.
For the 2022 football season, Keith was promoted early as the Bishops Offensive Coordinator and will remain the Bishops Offensive Line Coach.
Prior to becoming a Bishop (2018), Coach Keith was the Offensive Line Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn, a NCAA Division III football program.
Keith, an Onsted, Michigan native, was also previously at Beloit College, in Wisconsin, where he was Offensive Line Coach as well as the Video Coordinator for the program during the 2015 season. In his one season with the Buccaneers one of his position players earned an all-conference selection.
Keith graduated from the University of Mount Union (Ohio) in May of 2015 with a Business degree in Sports Management. Keith was an offensive lineman for the Raiders for four seasons winning four Ohio Athletic Conference championships, seeing four NCAA Division III Championship appearances, and most notably, played a part of winning the 2012 NCAA National title.
