Mark Jochum enters his sixth season with the N.C. Wesleyan football program and serves as Offensive Coordinator while coaching the offensive line. Since joining Wesleyan, Jochum's offensive line has helped two Bishop running backs garner USA South Player of the Year accolades: 2014 Offensive Player of the Year Jacques Alston and 2015 Offensive Rookie of the Year Adrian Minondo.

Jochum has over 20 years of coaching experience at the Division III level. He reunited with Wesleyan head coach Jeff Filkovski in the fall of 2013, having previously served on his staff at Marietta College during the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Jochum joined the Battling Bishops after a successful stint as O-line coach at Baldwin Wallace University where he helped coach the Yellow Jackets to a solid 22-8 record over three seasons. Prior to BWU and Marietta, he spent three years as offensive line coach, recruiting coordinator and assistant strength and conditioning coach at Franklin College from 2005 to 2008.

A 2002 graduate of John Carroll University with a degree in elementary education, he had previously served in a similar position with his alma mater for three seasons. As a four-year letterman on the JCU football team in the early 2000s, Jochum received the team's "Unsung Hero Award" for his leadership and dependability as a senior offensive lineman.
