Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference has released its weekly basketball awards for January 26th, and North Carolina Wesleyan's Adrian Moore has been named the league's Rookie of the Week. The Plymouth, N.C. freshman guard helped the Bishops to a 2-0 record last week by averaging 7.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals per contest.
In a 92-63 victory over Huntingdon, Moore scored just one point but added six assists, two rebounds and one steal. In an 83-73 win over LaGrange, he totaled 14 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals.
