Not only did the NC Wesleyan men's basketball team start off their conference season with a 9 point win over Berea College on Saturday, but the team was awarded with a conference player of the week award for their big win as senior point guard Chris Braswell was honored for his big 30 point game.

Chris Braswell, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior guard from Durham, North Carolina drained six three pointers en route to scoring 30 points as the Bishops topped USA South foe Berea, 92-83, in the team's only contest last week. Braswell also added six rebounds, five assists and two steals in the win. He also beat out 7 other nominees for the win.
Braswell will next lead the 6-1 Bishops on Tuesday afternoon as they return home to host Huntingdon College at 1 PM.
