The NC Wesleyan College men's basketball team will honor local Youth and local Veterans during their weekend conference games this Saturday and Sunday at Everett Gymnasium in Rocky Mount.
The men will first Celebrate the Youth during Saturday's game vs. Piedmont College at 2 PM.
Director of community relations Charlie Long said, "Join us for our Youth Celebration at Everett Gymnasium on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan College. Bring your youth group to enjoy an afternoon of great Men's Basketball and cheer the Battling Bishops to victory!"
Tickets are Free for the Youth, 17 and under, and there will be games, give-a-ways and half time recognition for the youth groups.
The Wesleyan men (10-2) will then honor Veterans or any current Military during Sunday's game vs. Brevard College at 1 PM during Veteran's Appreciation Day!
Long commented that, "Join us for our Veteran's Appreciation Day at Everett Gymnasium on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan College as we honor the men and women who have dedicated their lives to serve our nation.
Tickets are FREE to all Veterans or current Military."
