Wadda and Wiltse Earn All-Region Accolades in Men's Soccer

Rocky Mount, N.C. - The N.C. Wesleyan men's soccer program is pleased to announce that two players have earned All-Region honors. Junior forward A.J. Wadda and senior defender Drew Wiltse have both been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as Third Team selections, marking the first such awards of their careers.

Wadda turned in a breakout junior season, leading the Bishops in goals scored with 10 and total points with 22. Wiltse anchored a Wesleyan defense that allow just over one goal per game and posted seven shutouts. The two-time Most Valuable Player also added a trio of assists for the Bishops, who captured a share of the 2016 USA South Regular Season Championship with a 9-1 league record.

For their efforts, both were also First Team All-Conference selections prior to their recent All-Region recognition.

Congratulations A.J. and Drew!
