Rocky Mount, N.C. - The N.C. Wesleyan men's soccer program and head coach Frankie Taal are pleased to announce Zack MacDougall as assistant coach for the Battling Bishops. MacDougall joins NCWC after a successful five-year coaching stint with his alma mater, Randolph College.

MacDougall enjoyed a solid collegiate career with the Wildcats, where he was a member of the Randolph's inaugural program. He helped build the Wildcats into a contender in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference as a two-year captain, earning ODAC All-Conference, All-Tournament, and Academic All-Conference honors as a senior midfielder in 2010. MacDougall went on to complete his B.A. in History in the spring of 2011.

After serving one season as assistant varsity and head JV coach at Richlands High School (N.C.), MacDougall re-joined the WildCats in 2012 for his first season on the sidelines as an assistant coach. Additionally, the Wildcats were ranked regionally in the Atlantic South in each of those years (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016). His tenure also saw him complete his Master's degree in Secondary Education at Randolph in 2014.

MacDougall's additional experience includes serving two seasons as the head women's coach at Rustburg High School (Va.), where he was named the Seminole District Girls Coach of the Year in 2016 after producing the first winning season in program history. He also has a wealth of camp experience at various levels of play.
