Men's Soccer Pounds Brevard

BREVARD, N.C.- The NC Wesleyan men's soccer team extended their unbeaten streak to 6 games with a 4-0 dominating win over conference foe Brevard College (N.C.) on the road Saturday morning.

Two first half goals from freshman forward Cadribo Godfrey and two second half goals from fellow freshman forward Dominique Giovannini led to the quality win. Godfrey scored his goals in the 38th and 42nd minutes of the first half while Giovannini scored in the 56th and 60th minute of the second half for his first two goals on the year. Freshman Lorenzo Cocchia also assisted on 3 of the goals for his first assists on the season while freshman midfielder Carlos Felgueroso assisted on the other.

Wesleyan outshot the Tornadoes 20-6 overall and improve to 5-4-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the USA South. Brevard falls to 3-10 and 2-7.

NC Wesleyan will next return home for 4 of their final 5 games starting off with a conference match vs. Averett University on Wednesday at 4 PM from Scalf Field.
