Rocky Mount, N.C. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has released its 2015 Division III postseason awards in men's tennis. N.C. Wesleyan had three individuals honored, led by Andres Amores as the Atlantic South Region Coach of the Year. Also earning accolades were senior Robert Kjellberg and freshman Sebastian Sikh. Kjellberg was tabbed the ITA's Atlantic South Region Senior Player of the Year, while Sikh was named the region's Player to Watch.

In just his second year at the helm of the NCWC tennis program, Amores becomes the first-ever Wesleyan coach to earn ITA honors. The Ecuador native, who was also named the USA South Coach of the Year in women's tennis, led the 23rd-ranked Battling Bishops to a 7th-straight USA South regular season and tournament title this season. His team will take a 16-5 record into NCAA Tournament play.

A senior from Vetlanda, Sweden, Kjellberg becomes the first Bishop in history to earn Senior Player of the Year honors. Also named the USA South Conference Player of the Year, he boasts a 16-1 record at #1 singles with his only loss coming to Division I Winthrop. Additionally, Kjellberg teamed with Sikh to post a 25-5 overall record at #1 doubles.

A freshman from Eskilstuna, Sweden, Sikh was previously named the USA South's Rookie of the Year. He has 19 singles wins to his credit this season at primarily the #2 position.

In addition to their individual accolades, the duo earned a berth in the 2015 NCAA Division III Doubles Championship, with Kjellberg also earning a spot in singles play.
