Tyler comes to NC Wesleyan from West Craven HS where he was an All-State wrestler.  As a freshman, he decided to join the Men’s Cross Country team, a sport that he has never participated in before. His personal best time for 8K is 32:27, and 18:40 for 5K.  

During his tenure at NCWC, he has finished the season in the top 7 of each year that he has ran. He also competed in the NCAA Regionals as a sophomore. He currently holds the 6^th fastest 800 time (2:15) and 2^nd fastest 10K time (39:49) at NCWC.

Tyler received USA South All-Sportsmanship Award as a freshman, and won the Sportsmanship Award from NC Wesleyan as a sophomore.
