Wesleyan Men's XC Selected 7th in Pre-Conference Poll

The USA South Athletic Conference's men's cross country coaches have released their 2021 pre-championship poll. Berea was atop the rankings and will head into the upcoming USA South championship meet as the favorites. The Mountaineers will look to capture the championship for the fourth time in the past five seasons. During last season's COVID-altered spring campaign, the championship was split into divisions as Methodist captured the East Division championship while Covenant earned the West Division title.

The 2021 USA South Men's Cross Country championship will be hosted on the campus of N.C. Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The 8,000-meter event will begin at 11:00am (ET). For more information, view the USA South Meet Website.

Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.

The NC Wesleyan men, under first-year coach Bill Dunn, was selected to finish 7th out of 14 teams overall and 3rd among Eastern teams in the Pre-Conference Coaches Poll that was released on Tuesday afternoon.
