USA South Softball Player of the Week

Logan Winstead, N.C. Wesleyan - The sophomore outfielder from Raleigh, North Carolina was a perfect 7-for-7 (1.000) with a 1.000 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage in a 35-7 doubleheader sweep of Carolina University, the only contests last week for 3-1 N.C. Wesleyan.

Winstead totaled eight runs scored, three RBI, three walks and four stolen bases in the two wins as she was named the USA South Conference's Player of the Week in Softball.

Winstead will next lead the Bishops into a tough matchup at CNU on Wednesday at 2:30 PM.
