Rocky Mount, N.C. - Senior KeChae Parker averaged 18 points over two games this weekend in Everett Gym, helping her NCWC women's basketball team cruise to double-digit wins over William Peace University and Meredith College.

On Saturday versus WPU, Wesleyan erupted for 30 points in the third quarter as Parker and freshman Javana Jones combined for 22 points and a perfect 8-for-8 showing from the floor. Defensively, the Bishops stifled the Pacers and limited them to just eight points in the period to take a 62-30 lead into the fourth quarter. NCWC did not look back en route to a dominating 74-39 win.

Parker finished with 17 points, while junior Nadiya Holley added 11 points off the bench. WPU's Mikayla Ray had 16 to lead the Pacers.

Sunday's game with Meredith saw the Bishops turn a 9-point halftime edge into a 21-point win behind a solid second half showing from Parker. The Angels got as close as seven points, 44-37, with 2:17 remaining in the third quarter, but five straight points from Bishop freshman Kayla Johnson ignited a 9-2 run to end the period and give Wesleyan a 53-39 advantage heading into the fourth.

Parker proceeded to dominate the final ten minutes of play, pouring in 12 of her game-high 19 points on 4-of-5 shooting. The Bishops outscored Meredith 26-19 in the period to secure the 79-58 victory.
