The USA South Athletic Conference has released its 2018 Women's Basketball December Top Plays. For the months of November, December, January and February, the women's basketball programs in the USA South are welcome to submit up to two clips to be featured as a play of the month.

This month, Averett University, Brevard College, Covenant College, N.C. Wesleyan College, Piedmont College and William Peace University chose to be included in the "2018 Women's Basketball December Top Plays".

Wesleyan had two plays featured. The first play consisted of senior guard Daijah Davis forcing a Goucher turnover to get the steal before passing to fellow guard Jermaiyah Baker for the layup to help lead the Bishops to a win over Goucher on Dec. 18.

In Wesleyan's second play, sophomore guard Kayla Johnson drills a third quarter buzzer-beating three-pointer to give the Bishops momentum into the fourth vs. St. Mary's on Dec. 17.

The women are back in action this weekend as they travel west across the state to battle rivals Greensboro and Salem College.
