Bishop Women Fall at Greensboro

Greensboro, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan women's basketball team fell 82-69 at the Greensboro College Pride Wednesday night.

The leading scorers for the Bishops were Nadia Simmons who had 15 points and Kayrisma Harrison who contributed 13 to the affair.

In the first quarter the Lady Bishops had a 19-18 lead due to the scoring and rebounding efforts of Simmons and Harrison. Wesleyan was able to hold the Pride to under 30% shooting from behind the arc and outrebounded the Pride 45-31. 

The game was competitive throughout, featuring 10 ties and 24 lead changes. The women were also able to force their presence inside by putting up 38 points in the paint and having 30 points coming off the bench.

The Bishops will return home next Tuesday night where they will host Methodist at 7 PM.
