Rocky Mount, N.C. - North Carolina Wesleyan's lacrosse team wrapped up its 2014 home schedule on Sunday afternoon at Scalf Field, falling to Greensboro College by a 22-4 score. Prior to the match, head coach Vicky Gentile honored the two senior members of her squad: Danyelle Rube and Laine Hicks. The match saw Rube notch two caused turnovers and a pair of ground balls, while Hicks netted two goals on the day.

The Bishops jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first 65 seconds of play after Tikeyah Shaw and Hicks each tallied scores, with Shaw assisting on the latter. Unfortunately, it was all Greensboro from there as the Pride reeled off the next 12 goals before NCWC freshman Molly Lewis scored at the 7:17 mark.

Shortly after Lewis' score, rain set in and the two teams played through dismal second half conditions. Bishop keepers Marissa Santos and Madelin Mosqueda combined for eight saves in the match, while defender Charnell Jones recorded a trio of caused turnovers and ground balls.

Wesleyan (1-9, 1-6 USA South) wraps up the regular season on Friday at Methodist University. Match time is slated for 4:00pm in Fayetteville.
