Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference has released its weekly awards for October 27th, and North Carolina Wesleyan is pleased to announce that senior Rebecca Staylor of women's soccer has been named the league's Offensive Player of the Week. The Virginia Beach native garnered recognition after tallying seven goals in a trio of Bishop wins over the past seven days.

Staylor's 14 points on the week led all players in the league. In a 6-0 win over Mary Baldwin, she notched a hat trick plus one for four total goals, including the team's eventual gamewinner. In a 4-0 victory over Huntingdon, Staylor scored the team's third goal of the match in the 11th minute, and she later wrapped up the week with a pair of scores in a 4-0 win over LaGrange, again netting the gamewinner. She currently is tied atop the conference statistical leaders with 18 goals on the season.

Congratulations Becca!
