CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The NC Wesleyan Women's Soccer team dominated non-conference foe Johnson & Wales University on the road Monday evening en route to a 4-0 win.

Junior forward Sarah Cook led the Bishops with two goals scoring one in each half while senior forward Jordan Forbess and senior forward Madeline Williams also tallied goals. Wesleyan led 2-0 at halftime and led in shots 6-0. Forbess scored first for the Bishops off an assist from sophomore forward Cydney Nichols while Cook's goal in the 28th minute was assisted by Maggie Rankin.

NCWC then dominated the shot count 4-0 in the second half led by Cook's second goal in the 57th minute off an assist from Nichols, her second of the game. Williams then scored her first goal of the game in the 66th minute to cap off the night for the Bishops.

Sophomore goalkeeper Alicia Jacobs played all 90 minutes to record a shutout as well, her first of the season.

NCWC improves to 2-3-1 on the season while J&W falls to 2-3. The Bishops are next in action on Saturday at Averett University at 1:30 PM.
