Rocky Mount, N.C. - Wesleyan's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 sweep of Mary Baldwin on Friday night in Everett Gym (25-15, 25-15, 25-19). Prior to the match, head coach Vicky Gentile recognized her 2016 senior class: Christina Huber, Ayla Brewer, Tori Stewart, Evie Hunter, and Yasmin Alexander (pictured).

The five seniors stole the show, dominating from start to finish and posting a .338 hitting percentage on the night. Stewart and Hunter combined for 15 kills, while Brewer dished out 31 assists. Defensively, Huber posted a match-high 16 digs, with Alexander adding six of her own.

As a team, the Bishops racked up 35 kills and won the blocking battle 9-2.

Wesleyan (9-14, 6-5 USA South) will travel to Methodist University on Tuesday evening at 7:00pm. The Bishops were originally slated to play at Guilford College that same night, but Hurricane Matthew forced several schedule changes that resulted in Wesleyan heading to Fayetteville for a USA South tilt instead.
