Alumni Spotlight: Brittany Insley Pecora

The NC Wesleyan College Volleyball program is doing an alumni spotlight series. The eighth alum we are profiling is 2010 graduate Brittany Insley-Pecora.

Insley played all the way around as a middle hitter at Wesleyan from 2006-2009 and set multiple school records as a Bishop. She was also named to the all-conference team all four years as well including the first team three times. Insley was then named team MVP in 2006, '08, and '09 while also being named NCWC Female Athlete of the Year in back-to-back years in 2008 and 2009.

Insley holds four of the top 5 school records for kills in a season leading with 539. She also holds the record for career kills with 1,882 and career blocks with 460. She is also the school's all-time leader in career attack attempts with 4,201.

Insley was also a big part in helping NCWC reach 20 wins in three of her four seasons at Wesleyan under coach Robin Pietryk.

Brittany will also be inducted into the NCWC Hall of Fame later on this year as well.

Brittany is now married to Chris Pecora, also a NCWC baseball alum, and they reside in Ohio with their 3 kids, Blaire (6), Lyla (1), and Abram (4).
