Baseball's Bass Named USA South Rookie of the Week

USA South Baseball Rookie of the Week


Tyson Bass, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman third baseman from Wilson, North Carolina went a combined 5-for-12 (.417) with a .462 on-base percentage and a .500 slugging percentage to go along with three runs scored, one run batted in, one double and one walk as the 17th ranked Battling Bishops took two out of three games from USA South foe Methodist last week.

Bass is now hitting .348 on the year with 2 homers, 14 RBIs, 29 runs scored and 9 stolen bases.

Bass will next lead the 17-3 Bishops into a matchup with Ferrum on the road Wednesday at 3 PM.
