ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan University Baseball program led by head coach Greg Clifton, sent off 20 of their returning players to play in Summer Ball during the next few months.

The Bishops have their 20 players scattered throughout 12 teams in 9 different leagues from 5 states all over the East Coast ranging from Georgia to North and South Carolina to Virginia to New Jersey.

Playing for the Boone Bigfoots in the independent Textile League at Appalachian St. University are all-conference SS Tyson Bass, all-region outfielder Drifton Padgett and Chandler Padgett and catcher Jaiden Barker.

Competing for the High Point (NC) Hushpuppies in the Old North State League are pitcher Hunter Hill and catcher Ethan Martin while freahman infielder Colin Scoggins is also playing in the ONSL for the Oak City (NC) Flyers. DH Blake Scott is playing for the Fayetteville Chutes in the ONSL also.

4th Team All-American Davie Morgan is teaming up with all-conference outfielder Zach Lyon to compete for the Clayton, NC Clovers in the independent Carolina Collegiate League. All-Conference catcher Jean Lagreca is also competing for the nearby Wilson Tobs of the Coastal Plain League while JV players Josh Edwards and Damon Hardy are playing hard for the Carolina Pirates in Lillington, NC in the CCL as well.

Now onto the out of state leagues: competing in the Valley Baseball League in Winchester, VA are pitchers Danny Thompson and Clayton Gilmore playing for the Winchester Royals while outfielder Cord Butler is competing for the Martinsville, VA Mustangs of the CPL.

Playing for the Forestbrook, SC Mallards of the Beach Collegiate Baseball League are outfielders Alex Moskal and Vinny Chirafisi while Adam Conte is batting for the Pascack Valley (NJ) Catz of the Metro Collegiate League. Kylen Davis is also playing for the Gwinnett Astros of the Sunbelt Georgia League.
