Thomas St. Clair is entering his second season as the Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Battling Bishops Baseball program after arriving in the summer of 2019. Other than his coaching duties, he will also be the Outdoor Facilities Coordinator at Wesleyan. 

During the summer of 2019, Thomas completed a three-year professional career as a pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization after competing collegiately at Div. II Lenoir-Rhyne (N.C.).

St. Clair was selected in the 24th round by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2017 Major League Draft. St. Clair was named the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Pitcher Of The Year after posting a 10-4 record with a 2.28 earned run average and a school record and league-leading 116 strikeouts. St. Clair was also a first-team All-Southeast Region honoree and was named Pitcher of the Week by the conference four times and the region twice and was selected as the NCBWA NCAA Division II National Pitcher Of The Week after a three-hit and school-record 17 strikeout performance in February of 2017.

St. Clair's 284 career strikeouts were just three off the Lenoir-Rhyne record.

A native of Winston-Salem, NC, St. Clair is a 2017 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC with a B.S. in Business Marketing.
