Bishops Basketball Bring Back A Win

Lynchburg, VA – The North Carolina Wesleyan University Men's Basketball team traveled to Randolph College in Lynchburg, VA November the 8th and came away with a road victory against the Wildcats by a score of 86-65.

The Battling Bishops started the game off scoring the first five points of the game. The Bishops would shoot 50% for the first half and take 44-27 lead going into halftime. 

The second half of the game the Bishops continued with a strong performance in scoring a total of 42 points in the half, bringing the final score to 84-65 in favor of Battling Bishops.

The game saw five players scoring in the double digits; with Junior Austin Manley leading the Bishops with 17 points off of a 5-of-10 shooting and 3-of-5 behind the arc. Junior Khalid Hines had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds off of 4-of-8 shooting and 3-of-4 behind the arc performance. 

The Men will play their first home game of the season this Saturday, November the 12th against Mary Washington at 6:00pm.
