The USA South Athletic Conference's men's tennis coaches have released their 2021 pre-conference polls. Each divisional poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.
The 2021 USA South Men's Tennis Tournament will take place on campus sites. Due to the ramifications stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament field will be reduced to four total teams. The top-two teams from each division following regular season play will advance to the tournament.
The 11-time defending champion Bishop men's tennis team was again chosen to finish first in the 2021 USA South East Division Preseason Coaches Poll that was released Tuesday. The men recieved 5 first place votes and 25 voting points in the coaches balloting.
The Bishops are 2-2 so far this season with their only losses against D-1 foes. They are set to get back to action on Thursday at Wake Forest.
