Jhonny Acosta and Juan Vallejo, N.C. Wesleyan - The top doubles duo for the Bishops were named as the USA South Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the week on Monday after helping Wesleyan to a 3-0 week including a win over regionally ranked CNU at the top doubles line on Saturday.
The junior duo won 8-4 over their foes from CNU to improve to 7-2 on the season overall with their only losses coming against D-1 opponents.
They also each won their singles matches in the 7-2 win over CNU Saturday at home.
They will next lead the 13-2 Bishops into a D-2 matchup with Chowan at home on Tuesday afternoon.
