Lady Bishops Fall at Stockton

GALLOWAY, N.J. - The NC Wesleyan College women's soccer team fell 2-0 on the road at Stockton University in New Jersey on Saturday afternoon.

Stockton scored two first half goals to go ahead early scoring in the 16th and 34th minutes. The second goal came off a rebound of an earlier shot that was saved by senior goalkeeper Alicia Jacobs.

She went on to make a season-high 9 saves on 11 shots on goal while  the Bishops only managed 3 shots on goal throughout the game.

Wesleyan falls to 1-4 on the year while Stockton improves to 2-1-1.

The Bishops finish their two-game NJ swing by playing in Camden, Rutgers tomorrow at Noon.
