Lady Bishop Tennis Chosen 1st in Preseason Conference Poll

The USA South Athletic Conference's women's tennis coaches have released their 2021 pre-conference polls. Each divisional poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.

The 2021 USA South Women's Tennis Tournament will take place on campus sites. Due to the ramifications stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament field will be reduced to four total teams. The top-two teams from each division following regular season play will advance to the tournament.

The Defending Tournament Champion Lady Bishops were chosen to finish first with 36 voting points and 6 first place votes. Wesleyan is currently 0-2 on the season falling to Sewanee last weekend. They will return to action on Tuesday when they host D-2 Shaw University at 1 PM in Rocky Mount. The Lady Bishops open conference season on March 20 vs. Mary Baldwin.
