Volleyball's Butensky Named USA South Defensive Player of the Week

Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week


Sam Butensky, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior libero from Jacksonville, Florida averaged 7.50 digs per set as the Battling Bishops swept two matches from USA South foe Mary Baldwin last week in the team's only contests. Butensky also totaled five service aces in the wins.

She will next lead the Lady bishops into a road game at Averett on Wednesday before coming home on Friday to host Averett and Peace at 11 AM.
