NCWU vs. Brevard College, 3-2 & NCWU vs. Southern Virginia University, 0-3 

 Saturday's matches were held at Knight Arena in Buena Vista, VA. The first match of the day was a five-setter against Brevard College, ending with a Bishop win 25-18, 21-25, 17-25, 25-22, and 15-9.  The Bishop offense was led by junior Sloan Martin with a season-high 15 kills, followed by middles Ludmila Borges and Emily Foraker with 10 kills each. Junior right-side Desiree Walker earned 6 kills. Martin totaled 20 assists followed by Allison Wichrowski with 17 assists. Defensively, libero Barrett Davis hit a career-high of 34 digs. Martin added 17 digs in right-back, followed by Kristjanson with 12 digs and Mary Cat Davis with 10 digs. Ludmila Borges managed 3 solo blocks at the net.  

The second matchup was not as successful for the Bishops, losing in three sets against the SVU Knights. Aubrey Nicholson led the offense with 8 kills on the outside. Barrett Davis added 14 digs in the back row followed by Nicholson with 6 digs and Kristjanson with 5 digs.  The Knights' offensive power and service runs proved fatal for the Bishops, losing in a 0-3 sweep in Knight Arena. The weekend moved the Bishops' conference record to 3-5.

The NCWU Volleyball Team will travel to Raleigh to face Meredith College on Thursday and return home on Friday for a tri-match against Pfeiffer University and Greensboro College.
