Men's Tennis Splits Matches With Methodist and DI NC A&T

Rocky Mount, N.C. - The N.C. Wesleyan tennis program split matches with USA South rival Methodist and Division I opponent North Carolina A&T. Against the Monarchs, Wesleyan won the match 8-1, with big singles wins by Vittorio Noli, and Bernardo Messino who won every set by 6-3 or better. In doubles action, the Bishops swept Methodist 3-0, with Luca Knese and Albert Sitwell got a victory at the #1 doubles slot 8-4 to get the afternoon started off.

Against the Aggies, Knese, and Sitwell got a tremendous doubles victory over a D1 opponent at the #1 position, and  Messino won the #6 singles match 6-4, 6-3. The Bishop's regular season concludes with a record of 14-10 and another undefeated season in conference action. The men's program will host the conference tournament beginning next Friday at home.
