Baseball Ends Season in Rocky Mount Regional

Rocky Mount, N.C. - The N.C. Wesleyan baseball program fell in back-to-back games in the Rocky Mount Regional to Lynchburg and Lebanon Valley. The offense shined in the DH, scoring 21 runs and hitting five home runs to cap off the regional. While falling, the baseball program had one of its best seasons in the past decade. The program won 36 games, won the USA South for the first time since 2009, and then hosted a regional at Bauer Field, which has not been done since 2009.

The Battling Bishops will have plenty of experienced talent returning next season and will try to get back to the CWS for the first time since 2006. The N.C. Wesleyan Athletic Department would like to congratulate the baseball team on an outstanding 2023 campaign, and would also like to thank everyone who attended the Rocky Mount Regional.
