Men's Tennis Athlete John Falke named All-American by ITA.

Rocky Mount, NC - N.C. Wesleyan tennis athlete, John Falkle, has earned the prestigious title of All-American by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Hailing from Sweden, Falkle's outstanding performance throughout the season has solidified his place in the annals of Wesleyan's rich tennis history.

Falkle's journey to becoming an All-American has been nothing short of extraordinary. The talented athlete remained undefeated in conference play this season, delivering awe-inspiring performances match after match. His unrivaled skill and relentless work ethic propelled Wesleyan to the Indoor ITA National Championship held at Gustavus Adolphus which features the top eight teams in the country. 

Facing off against one of the nation's top-ranked singles players, Andrew Esses from Emory, Falkle rose to the occasion, winning an astonishing seven straight tiebreaker points. The victory also led the Battling Bishops within one set of the national championships held in Orlando, FL. A place in which Wesleyan has only been once.

Falkle's exceptional season propelled him to the ranks of the fourth All-American in the calendar year, following in the footsteps of Ahnia Cherry, Payne Stolsworth, and Kristal Dule.

Throughout the season, Falkle has consistently showcased his ability to dominate on the court, displaying a perfect blend of technique, and strategy to lead the Bishops to one of the most successful seasons in program history.. His relentless pursuit of excellence has not only brought accolades to himself but has also elevated the stature of the NC Wesleyan tennis program.
