Macon, GA - The North Carolina Wesleyan men's tennis team swept the USA South Player of the Week honors.
Player of the Week - John Falke, NC Wesleyan - The junior from Halland, Sweden earned a 2-1 singles mark and a 1-2 doubles record during the ITA DIII National Indoor Championships last week. In singles, Falke earned wins over opponents from nationally-ranked Gustavus Adolphus at the number-two position and Pomona-Pitzer at the top-spot. In doubles, he teamed with Augusto Roca at the number-three position for a win over Pomona-Pitzer.
Doubles Team of the Week - Sean Keane and Diego Segovia, N.C. Wesleyan - The Battling Bishop duo earned a 1-2 record last week at the ITA DIII National Indoor Championships last week. The team's win came at the number-two position against opposition from nationally-ranked Washington University (St. Louis).
