Men's Tennis Earns Player of Week Honors for 2nd Straight Week

Macon, GA - The NC Wesleyan men's tennis program earned Player and Doubles of the Week honors for the 2nd consecutive week. The Bishops earned a win over Washington&Lee, then faced off with #11 Johns Hopkins.

 

Player of the Week - John Falke, N.C. Wesleyan - The junior from Halland, Sweden earned a 2-0 record at the number-two singles spot and the number-three doubles position last week for the Battling Bishops. In singles, Falke earned wins over opponents from Washington & Lee and nationally-ranked Johns Hopkins. In doubles, he teamed with Augusto Roca for the two wins. Also Nominated: Benedikt Pfeiffer, Pfeiffer; Devin Horton, Brevard.

Doubles team of the Week - Sean Keane and Diego Segovia, N.C. Wesleyan - The Battling Bishop duo earned a 2-0 record last week at the number-two doubles position. The team's wins came against opposition from Washington & Lee and nationally-ranked Johns Hopkins. Also Nominated: Michale Haranczyk and Dylan Masters, Pfeiffer.
