Men's Tennis Competes Against Nation's Top Competition in Boston

Boston - The N.C. Wesleyan men's tennis program traveled to Boston over the weekend to face #4 Tufts, #30 MIT, and #27 MIT. The Bishops were competitive in every match including winning three singles matches over #4 Tufts. Against #27 Brandeis, five of the six singles matches went to a third set, and all featured tiebreakers. Against Tufts, Luca Knese and Diego Segovia came up with clutch third-set singles victories to gain confidence against one of the nation's top programs. In the MIT match, John Falke won at #1 singles in three sets and cruised at #3 doubles as well. The Bishops went on to win two of the three doubles contests in the match. To wrap up the weekend against Brandeis, Wesleyan would once again win two of the three doubles match, and Diego Segovia picked up a three-set victory at the #3 singles slot.
